gauteng.ai is run by Stefan Smit, a backend engineer and systems thinker based in Centurion. I help South African businesses make practical decisions about AI and build tools that fit the way their people actually work.
My foundation is in backend systems, architecture, integrations, and automation — the work behind software that has to keep running when requirements change and real operations get messy. That is the lens I bring to AI: understand the work first, then use the technology where it genuinely helps.
